2026 will be the first year of FOTA association with this activation. It has operated in 2024 and 2025 with great success. The NC Ham & GMRS Radio Exhibit is not affiliated with any one club or organization. It is supported by volunteers from all over the state. Every year some 30+ volunteers run the exhibit, representing over 25 ham radio clubs and the hobby in general. Travis Russell, KN4WJL, is the driving force behind this event.

This first pic is of the JARScom radio operations vehicle, provided by JARS - The Johnston Amateur Radio Society. It's a rolling communications vehicle, equipped for HF, VHF, and UHF Amateur Radio operations, as well as GMRS. I'll post better pics of the inside, from the FOTA activation.
